My Journey in Paint
I create still life paintings that explore the beauty of the everyday through a dialogue between realism and abstraction. Realism anchors my work, allowing me to study each object with precision and care. Yet I move beyond representation, shifting and reassembling forms and color fields, so that abstraction reshapes perception. Scale plays a central role in this process. Flowers, grapes, and vessels appear larger than life, transforming the ordinary into something monumental. This shift heightens both their visual and emotional impact, offering a renewed way of seeing. Each painting is, for me, a statement — a pursuit of harmony between form, color, and scale, and an invitation to rediscover the unexpected beauty within the familiar.
